If you live in the Ealing area in either W5 or W13 and have suffered with a blocked toilet in the past then maybe we can be of help.
We cater for all customers in the London Borough of Ealing and deal with blocked toilets on a daily basis.
Today we’re going to talk through the motions of dealing with a blocked toilet in order to help the customers of Ealing to deal with their own problems.
The first thing you will need is a decent 6 inch plunger which can be obtained from any DIY shop or plumbers merchant. There are hundreds of these throughout Ealing.
Once you have your plunger you are ready to begin unblocking your toilet. You will need to fill the toilet up with water. This can be done simply by flushing the toilet using the smaller flush button on dual flush toilets to avoid the water from rising up over the toilet bowl and flooding the floor.
Once the toilet bowl is at least half full of water you can insert the toilet plunger aiming it towards the exit at the back of the toilet bowl. Create a seal by pushing it right in to the exit hole and then proceed to pump it up and down vigorously for about 30 seconds. This motion will force the water up and down creating a vacum and pushing into the blockage, thus breaking the blockage up and clearing your toilet bowl.
If this does not clear your blockage then you may need to call a plumber.
We service all of Ealing and West London so just give us a call. We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and offer a fast and reliable service.
